Dampproof Membranes

For an effective barrier against water penetration it is vital that any Damp Proof Course (DPC) is linked with a suitable Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) in the floor. We supply DPM & DPC solutions from some of the biggest and established names in waterproofing industry including; Fosroc, Grace, RIW, Ruberoid and, SCP to name but a few.

Liquid Tanking Membranes

In addition to our extensive range of DPMs we stock a range of cold applied liquid membranes that are ideal for the waterproofing of ground floors and basements with irregular surfaces.

Cementitious Waterproofing

Cementitious tanking slurries can be used below ground where water pressure is encountered within building structures such as cellars, bunds and other below ground areas.

Waterstops

Waterstops prevent the ingress of water during construction, they are cast into construction joints and take three different forms;

• PVC strips cast centrally or on the face to provide a physical barrier to the passage of water (see Fosroc Supercast)
• Hydrophilic strips placed in joints which expand when in contact with water to seal the joint (see Grace AH205). There are also combinations of PVC and hydrophilic (see SCP Dualtite)
• Injection hoses cast in through which resins can be pumped if leaks occur (see Sika Injectoflex)

Waterplugs

Are used to seal leaks that occur after construction, these come as in two formats;

• Liquids that are added to cement in different concentrations to give different speed of set
• Powder products that just need the addition of water
